We are THRILLED to be able to open our doors and welcome wine lovers of all kinds back to Derby! We have missed seeing your faces every day, and are ready to (safely) start sharing our wine with you again! We know things are a little different these days so we want to do our best to let you know what you can exect when you come to visit us. So, here is how we have put safety first as we re-opened our doors.
The New Guest Experience
Our tasting room is located in the Historic Almond Growers building at 525 Riverside Ave. in downtown Paso Robles, CA. We are open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am- 5:00 pm and Friday through Sunday 11:00 am- 6:00 pm. Currently, we are offering tastings and bottle/glass service on our outdoor patio only. Our Regular Tasting experience is $20/person and can be waived with a 2-bottle purchase. Upgrade to our Reserve Tasting experience for $30/person, waived with a 2-bottle purchase of our Vineyard Select or Library bottles. Regular Tastings are still waived for our Club Derby Members according to their membership level and discounted to $20/person for Reserve Tastings.
We are open by reservation only and are operating at a limited capacity for the foreseeable future. If you would like to make a reservation with us, please reserve your table here. We can accept groups of up to 6 guests. For larger parties, please call the tasting room and we will see if we can find a way to accommodate you. We do ask that all guests wear a mask upon entry and anytime you are not seated in your tasting area.
Our patio is set up with a limited number of comfortable and safely distanced tasting areas. We ask that guests follow the marked pathways around the tasting room and patio and make every effort to keep a safe distance between themselves and other parties.
We are committed to keeping our facility as clean as possible for the safety of our guests. First thing in the morning and periodically throughout the day, our staff sanitizes surfaces in the tasting room and on the patio. As new groups come in, we will re-sanitize the area to make sure it is clean and ready for relaxation. Our staff will greet and serve you with a mask on and, wherever possible, keep at least 6 feet away. Of course, we’ll have to get a little closer to pour the wine!
We may be able to offer short tours of our historic building and production facility if there is enough staff available to accommodate. Guests must wear a mask while on the tour and leave all drinks at their table.
Derby will be Closed:
New Years’ Eve and Day, Superbowl Sunday, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
